Maggie

We meet Maggie when we arrive to Canada in the school bus. She treated us very kind and friendly. Sometimes she make jokes for us to laugh. She cares us a lot, when we are outside the resident, in the bus or in the train; she will always be watching our back. Maggie is funny but when she has to get mad; she will be mad.

Maggie knows a lot such as the stops that we have to make. She knows almost all the places of Toronto. If you want a guide, I will sugest her.

Niagara Falls!

For this trip, we had to pass our night in other hotel of Ontario, so we had to pack all our clothes from our old room, because on this two day trip, others people will be using our rooms.

By the way, we left all our things in only one room. The good thing is that we will be going to Niagara Falls by a bus; we don't have to walk to take the TTC and we don't have any stops.

It was like 2 hours the trip and I felt asleep in the bus. When we arrived there, it has a great falls of water that looks amazing. We went to the ship called Maid of Mist. In the ship, I was the one that can take pictures of the falls, because I got my camera in a transparent Ziploc. There was blowing water to us and we had our hair all wet. We were going around the falls, but not through the falls.

After that we went to eat in Burger King, we spent like 1 hour there. Later we went to shop and then it was time to get back to the bus. Then we went to Skydome that the shape looks like the CN Tower but it is smaller. It is use to see the big falls of water. After that we went to the big malls in Ontario. We spent like two hour buying and at last we were going to the Hotel, wodering what would happend the next day.

CN Tower

At last, we were in the CN Tower, the one that I wanted to visit for a long time. As soon as we were there, the guide told us to wait outside, because there was a lot of groups that want to go up too. After 15 minutes outside, we went to form a large line to go to the elevator. It was so great inside the elevator; we were all excited. We can see a big view with a lot of buildings and cars; it was a beautiful view that we had to take pictures.

When we were up there, we can see a lot of people taking pictures of themselves. It felt pretty cool up there, because of the wind that was blowing. We even went to the section where you can see all the below through the hard glasses. It was a great experience to stepping there and looking below feeling like you are falling.

It is very good and we all enjoy it. Later we went down by the elevator. That's all for our visit of CN Tower.

Royal Ontario Museum

After we finish visiting Hockey Hall of Fame, we went right away to the ROM. When we arrive there, we realize that one of our group is not with us and we guess that she might be left at the Hockey Hall of Fame. We were so worry that we have to sent two people to look for her.

Then we should enter to the ROM, because it`s being to late.

So we are in the ROM, we divided into several groups. There was a lot of ancients stuffs of several countries such as China, India, Africa, Greese and others. We took a lot of pictures until my camera´s batteries died. We receive information of the people whose went to look for one of my group. They said that she already was on the train to go back to the resident. So we don´t have to worry about her.

The best of the ROM was the big skeleton of the big barosaurus.

Hall of Fame

It was so great to see the several masks of some famous hockey player. We took a lot of pictures of some masks and all the hockey balls that were stocked at the wall. There was a lot of posters of famous hockey players of the past and present; also a lot of t-shirts of all countries that play hockey. We also took pictures of ourself with the trophy.

Then we went to play a simple hockey game in which cost 2 dollars each try. You can chose to hit the targets or defeat the goalkeeper. I chose to defeat the goal keeper, because it seem more easy. So I got the hockey stick and made my first shoot, it was so difficult that I just got one point. One of my shot that make the ball to stuck on the corner side of the virtual screen. Now I know that playing hockey is not very easy as you can see. If I am bad in that game, it would be more difficult to play on the ice.

Wonderland!!!

This was the day that everyones were waiting for, but it was normal for me because I don't really like too much about the going to any roller coaster. Since I am affraid of height, I'm not going to ride the machine about height.

We must be on time at 8 o'clock and there we had to wait for around an hour, because we had to wait for others guys that also go the Wonderland. When all are ready and we are just about to board the school bus, it comes that we should sign a paper of security of live, if anythings happen to us. (Well, I hope that everyones can arrive to home safetly) Finally, we are in the bus at 9:30. On our way, there was three guys behind us that were talking and lauging loud that got us all awake.

It was amazing when we were in Wonderland. I saw a lot of people walking, running and screaming on their ride. Also the looks of the waterfall, mountain and the machines are awesome.

It was so cool that make us to try the first ride right away. It was so exiting the first ride when the ride was getting down. I felt like my heart was pumping out, but it was fun. Then we took another an easy one, later my friends want to make me ride The Drop Towel, the highest machine. At first, I refuse to go, but they insist that want to go in group, then I accept it.

It was a long line to form. It was our turn, I was to nervous sitting on a seat with my seat-belt well tight waiting to going up. When I was going up, I felt scare at the top, but It was a good view up there. It was the time to getting down; It was so fast that I should scream out loud and breath deeply to be calm. It was too fast and so cool that It makes me to go another time.

We stopped at game section that we have to pay to play the game and win a big doll. I've waste my 5 dollars on a game that seems easily and my others friend too. I though that with that money that we wasted, we also could buy a doll. We had waste most of our time on games that we got no chance to ride more than 5 rides.

It was lunch time and the food was very bad and the soda is the worst; it tasted like water with medicine. It was so bad that I can not finish my lunch. After lunch, it was time to go to our resident. We went back very tired and sleeepy.

Casa Loma!

When I heard that the Casa Loma is our today's trip, I was thinking that it would be boring.

Well, it result that we had to walk up a lot of stairs and it got us tired. We got up there, outside the entrance, we could see the big and beautiful buildings of Famous Casa Loma.

We are inside the entrance and it had a lot of flowers and water. It's so cool and we even take some pictures of ourself and all our group. We got inside and they gave us like a special phone that inform us what is the room by clicking the catalog number of each room. We even make some joke that the phone got bluetooth and one of our sleepy classmates believed it. (That's was so funny)

The point is that we continue looking to all the rooms of Casa loma. All the rooms were so cool and some looks like old such as the bathroom and other rooms. I know that Casa Loma has 98 rooms from my classmate's speech and that the Casa Loma was from a family and then they moved to another place; also once they used it like a hotel.

Well, we stood there around 2 hours, but for me it was an hour more. I think that of all the trips we went to, this was the less interesting trip of all.

Blue Jays!

We had classes around 3 to 4 hours. The bad thing that had happen was that one of my friend got a disease on his eyes and he will be out of our trip of today. Our Trip is to go to watch a baseball game; at first I though that it will be bored, because I don't really like baseball too much and I prefer a soccer game.

It was great when we arrived to the downtown, because it was the first time that I see the CN Tower and also the first time that I go to a stadium. It is pretty cool that my first time to watch a game will be in the Rogers Centre. They were a lot of people going to watch the game. This is my first time to be witness of a game; I can wait for the Blue Jays to win. I was cheering for the Blue Jays because it is the Toronto team.

The game have started like 10 minutes after we arrive. When we arrive, the Blue Jays was losing. Later the game was very bore, because almost all the innings the both team were doing strike and out with no run. Later the Blue Jays was losing 5-3, we all think that The Blue Jays will gonna lose. Suddenly they have bases on the third and the second, a player bat and has scarified an out but get the home. It was one out for the Blue Jays, then a next player bat so hard that went to the other side of the yard, like this they got the two runs and that is 6-5. That was the last innings, so the Blue Jays won. We all were very happy and satisfied of the game.

We end this game at night and we went to our destination happily.

Toronto Zoo

We woke up like on 10 o' clock today. Our trip is
the zoo and we were so excited at first. When we got there, there was very hot and I brought my jacket since I didn't know it. We found some lockers there that we have to pay an dollar to use it. We save all what is unnecesary in there.
Then we start walking to see the animals. First we saw a lot of butterflies, monkeys, snake, ect.
The point is that we took a lot of pictures to every animals we see. There was many variety kinds of animals.

It was very hot plus we have to walk up all through those hills. There was many section like Africa, Asia, America that got their own animals. We even took a picture of a polar bear, can you believe it? Hmm I just kidding, there don't have any bear nor polar bear. The thing is that we have took pictures from the posters.

The day was so hot that we just bought a ice cream, because almost all the food and drinks were very expensive.

We finished taking pictures and watching animals, so we went back to our resident.

Then we spent the rest of our time on soccer.

Eaton's Centre

First we went to the Chinatown. We were shopping in each stores. Well, It's better to say that the girls were the one that were shopping. They were so crazy of buying stuff that make us the boys to wait for a long time. We are not very interested at all, so we didn't buy anything in Chinatown. By the way, we saw an old Chinese man that is a homeless man, so we did gave him our lunch from the Cafeteria. Our first impression when we saw the old man was sadness.
Although, I haven't see a Chinese that is a homeless people.

Then we went to the festivals. In there we have a lot of malls, so we got like 2 hours to buy things. The only thing that was on our minds were electronic stuff. When I say our, I mean the boys. We went to the mall and we can see that the prices were too higher comparing with our country. So we went walking through all the mall and see nothing of electronic stuff, we got to ask for someone of the mall of somewhere whose sell electronic.

Later on we found EB Games down stair; we were asking for quotation, because we four gonna buy 4 PSP and both places told us the same excuse, that they can not low the prices if not they will be fired the next day. So we don't have any choice rather to buy them, since here the only things that got a cheaper prices is the electronic stuffs; we spent a lot of money there.
Also we find out a problem, we were going to pay with our debit card, but they ask us for identification. Since we still are not adults yet, so we show them our international student card and they didn't accept it. We have to pay with Canadian bills and we spent it all what we have changed with United State dollars.
That was all what we did this day.

My First Impression of Canada

When I saw the view of the city Canada in my seat of the airplane, it surprises me. The plenty light that are all over the city and a lot of cars moving to their way; also the amount of big building and houses everywhere, but could not see any people since I am up there watching. The weather is so cool and confortable.
When I arrive to the college's residence, I can see that the people of there is very nice and kind; and I saw people with different culture that are from other countries. We started the trip visiting places by bus and train; we have so much fun so far. We went to drive canoas and this is my first time of it.
So this is my journey so far and I hope we will have more fun further more and to visit more beautiful places.
